Passports containing Israeli visas, stamps, or evidence of travel to Israeli-controlled territories may result in refusal of entry into Syria and Lebanon.
Passports must have a minimum validity of six months from date of entry.
Passports containing stamps from Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam, or Hurghada may result in refusal of entry into Syria.
Due to the February 2023 earthquake, the Aleppo Citadel may only be viewable externally depending on restoration progress.
The Umayyad Mosque in Aleppo is currently under restoration and remains closed until further notice.
