Best Time to Travel: Shoulder Season (late April–mid-June & September–October)

Croatia stretches along the eastern Adriatic, from Istria’s coastal towns to Dalmatia’s islands and karst landscapes. Its appeal lies in the range of experiences within a compact area. Explore Roman palaces, Adriatic islands, and national parks of remarkable biodiversity. Walk the entire length of Dubrovnik’s city walls, sail among the Dalmatian islands, and visit waterfalls in Plitvice and Krka.
Discover Croatia
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dubrovnik is enclosed by 2 kilometres of stone walls dating from the 13th to 16th centuries. The Stradun promenade, Rector’s Palace, and Franciscan Monastery illustrate the city’s independence as a maritime republic.
Built in the 4th century CE by Roman Emperor Diocletian as his retirement residence, the palace forms the core of modern Split. Its preserved temples, peristyle, and cellars blend seamlessly with cafes and shops in use today.
Plitvice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a network of 16 terraced lakes joined by waterfalls and forest trails. Wooden walkways and electric boats allow exploration without disturbing the fragile karst ecosystem.
